Frequently Asked Questions

Brown Sugar Bakery is a home based bakery located in Hawthorne, California and offers delivery within Los Angeles County and Orange County.

Unfortunately I don't. All of our items are baked fresh to order, meaning I don't bake it until you order it. 

Orders should be placed no less than 2 weeks before your preferred delivery date. The more notice, the better. This means that all details need to be discussed and agreed upon to receive a quote/invoice. Your invoice will contain all your order details along with information for submitting payment. A 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid to confirm your order and delivery date/time. 

Orders/deliveries are confirmed on a first come, first serve basis. If there is an opening on my calendar I do my best to accommodate last minute orders, but cannot make any guarantees. In addition, a rush order fee will apply to any order placed less than 2 weeks prior to the delivery date. It is highly encouraged that all clients to reach out to discuss their order as soon as they are aware of the event/holiday. 

Acceptable forms of payment include cash, Zelle, Venmo and CashApp.

Please allow 48 hours to respond to your inquiry. If it's more convenient to discuss details over the phone a number will be provided via email.
